Tap to Watch

The FilmTrade “Tap to Watch” Card combines a physical keepsake with modern retail and streaming tech, all in the size of a credit card, to create a convenient and cost-effective way to share, sell, and collect films. This new format allows filmmakers to:

  • Leverage in-person events to make limited edition sales during festival and theatrical windows

  • Engage with their audiences in a lasting way

  • Increase promotion and awareness for their films

FilmTrade Indie Theater Network

FilmTrade is building a network of independent theater partners who keep FilmTrade cards in stock after a film's screening to continue to sell to arthouse patrons (e.g. via a retail counter used for concessions, gifts, and other merch). They can do this by:

FilmTrade merch is…

  • Compact, with countertop Point-of-Purchase displays

  • Non-perishable

  • Additional revenue for in-person venues
